About 'Tales of One Day'
What would it feel like to stand on a quiet trail in Snowdonia, breathe in the sea mist off Cardigan Bay, or sip something warm by firelight in a design-led bolthole hidden in the Welsh hills?
That’s the energy we aim to capture in Tales of One Day: our cinematic series designed to stir longing, ignite imagination, and give luxury hospitality and travel brands a story their audiences can feel.
For our most recent chapter, we turned the lens to Wales: a land of mist, memory and modern simplicity. Through immersive film, sound and stills, we’re building a campaign that celebrates the wild, the local, and the soulful.
Why ‘Tales of One Day’ Exists
We created this series to help brands move beyond surface-level promotion and into something more emotional, more artistic, and more human.
Each chapter captures the feeling of a destination through a blend of high-end visual storytelling, original narration, and cinematic pacing. No voiceover clichés. No travel tropes. Just honest, evocative scenes designed to inspire action.
Whether it’s a luxury eco-retreat, a reimagined country pub, or a creative cookery space rooted in place, our goal is to invite audiences to ask:
“What would it feel like to one day… be there?”
Behind the Scenes in Wales
In spring/summer 2025, we are filming across rural Wales — from coastal trails and smoky wood-fired dinners, to beautifully designed interiors and boutique hideaways with sustainability at heart.
So far, the Wales series features three unique brands, each with a strong story connected to nature:
Fforest – A place to slow down. Located along the Teifi Estuary, Fforest is a dreamlike blend of nature, design, food and fire. We captured its quiet magic: from sunlight over the raised beds to still moments in the nature spa.
Hergest Lee – A creative, character-filled guesthouse in the rolling hills near Hay-on-Wye. Every object tells a story here. We focused on intimate details — slow coffee mornings, evening fireside conversations, the joy of daytime baths.
Chapters, Hay-on-Wye – A modern British restaurant where local, seasonal produce takes centre stage. We told this story through hands-on moments in the kitchen and connection around the table, bringing to life the flavour of place.
We’ll be continuing the Wales chapter in Snowdonia this July — adding elemental landscapes and epic scale to complete the narrative arc.
Come back soon to see the final project!
